Testimonials

"Dr. Chris is amazing! When we had to say goodbye to our dog, Odin, Chris made it possible for us to do so in the most comfortable way for both us, Odin, and or other dogs. Chris was very compassionate and empathetic. He made sure to spend time talking with us before and afterwards and was very aware of the emotional gravity of the situation."

For those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge but have not left our hearts.

This page is in dedication to the amazing creatures with whom I was lucky enough to have crossed paths with and whom I have been able to help.  If you would like to add your loved one here, please email me a picture and tell me a little more about them

About

ABOUT

Dr. Chris Schneider

After graduating from veterinary school at Colorado State University in 2012, I relocated to Arizona. While living in Arizona, I practiced at and eventually became part-owner of a general practice clinic. Early in my career,  I discovered my passion for not only treating patients but also providing support and empathy to their owners. One of the most rewarding parts of my career is building meaningful connections with clients, especially during joyful and challenging times.

In 2020, I returned to Colorado. While continuing my career as an associate at various general practice hospitals, I also began working independently for a national in-home euthanasia service. It was here that I discovered my dedication to supporting pet owners during their most difficult and heartbreaking moments. This inspired me to create Rainbow Bridge House Calls, allowing me to provide a more personal and accessible experience for clients.

In February of 2025, I had to say goodbye to my oldest cat, Harvey, who had been by my side since my undergraduate years in college. Harvey helped me navigate many transitions in my life. Being with him at home, allowing him to peacefully pass in our living room, was the only way I could imagine saying goodbye. My hope is that I can provide that same peaceful experience for every client.

Outside of work, I cherish time with my two amazing children and enjoy relaxing with my friends over board games, Magic: The Gathering, or Dungeons & Dragons. I also love spending time outdoors in Colorado's beautiful outdoors, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and frolfing. On quieter evenings, you'll often find me curled up on the couch with my four cats—Mittens, Shadow, Jasper, and Percy—while my dog Tess lays on the floor next to us.
